What To Expect

We meet for worship every Sunday morning at 9:15 and 10:45. Both services are identical in content and musical style. We also have small groups that meet during both times.

Hyde Park is located at 301 North Roberts Ave in Lumberton across from Builder’s Supply, Dollar General, and Burger King.

No. Hyde Park is a very welcoming and diverse congregation. You’ll see everything from shorts and t-shirts to casual business attire to dresses and suits and ties. We’re much more concerned about celebrating you being here with us than focusing on what you’re wearing.

We have an awesome kids ministry simply called HP Kids. Within that, we have Awana on Wednesday nights at 6:30, small group classes on Sunday morning at 9:30, and HP Kids Live at 10:45. HP Kids Live is a worship gathering designed especially for kids with videos, dramas, games, music, and teaching that is age-appropriate and filled with biblical truth. On both Wednesdays and Sundays, you can come in to the first set of glass doors to the Family Life Center and check your kids in via our safe and secure KidCheck system.

Hyde Park has an active student ministry called Incite. They meet together every Wednesday night at 6:30 for a student worship service with games, music, and Bible teaching and for small groups on Sunday mornings at 9:30. Both events meet in the student worship center. Incite also offers other planned student events on Sunday evenings at various times and locations. You can check our church calendar for those event listings.

We value our guests at Hyde Park and have a few guest parking spaces set aside for your first visit. These are in the main, larger parking lot, just outside Guest Services.

Just off the main parking lot is our Guest Services entrance at the rear of the worship center. By coming in these doors, you will be greeted by someone from our guest services team. This is where you can find more information about small groups and other ministries, as well as directions to wherever you need to go. Be sure to ask about the ROC café where you can enjoy a cup of coffee on us, get some basic breakfast items, and visit with some of our members.

God exists and has revealed Himself to mankind. He has rescued and redeemed a people for Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ. This good news is to be preached to all nations for God’s glory and our joy.
